London Contemporary Dance School

Postgraduate Choreography and Screendance

£8 / £6 concessions

Dance on screen and live choreography come together for this evening of short films and brand-new live work. Students of London Contemporary Dance School's postgraduate courses; Screendance and Developing Artistic Practice pathway, join forces and invite you to experience the breadth of what dance can be.

This programme includes a selection of short films made by the MA Screendance students from both the 2021 and the 2021/22 cohorts. As well as a new, live choreographic work by Carly Oskar, who is on our Developing Artistic Practice pathway.

Short Films:

While some of the films have been four months in the making, others have been conceived, shot and edited in two hours. The works reflect the wide range of students’ interests and creative processes; they stretch the boundaries of the artform and delve into the challenges of making dance on screen.
