Artist’s biography:
Richard is a drummer, percussionist and composer that is rapidly making a name for himself. Having studied music from a very early age, he has attracted many accolades such as Young drummer of the year 2009, percussion prize winner at Junior Guildhall 2009 & 2011, Principals prize 2012, and a category finalist in Young Musician of the Year 2012.

As a drummer, Richard is renowned for his quick learning, creative style, groove, and consistency. He can play any style, combined with great sight reading and an ability to improvise.

As a percussionist, Richard has now completed his studies at Guildhall, and is recognised for his ability to really connect with and bring pieces to life, as a soloist, ensemble member, and composer. Venues he has performed at include, The Royal Albert Hall including The BBC Proms, The Royal Opera, The Royal Festival Hall and the Barbican main Hall.

As a composer, Richard is writing media for Audio network, having just finished his 3rd album with Lincoln Grounds. He is also writing for and producing several artists. Richard has on several occasions appeared on national TV, radio, and in music publications.
