Music and Dance (open level) with Manuel Badás and Juan J. Ochoa from NO LEVEL PROJECT

part of Summer Dance Courses 2016

This open level workshop is aimed at dancers and choreographers who want to enrich their knowledge of the relationship between music and dance, to understand the depth of these connections and to find new ways to approach them. By sharing their own experience, Ochoa and Badás will guide these workshops through intensive sessions of improvisation, alongside studying music for dance.

Participants will also explore common codes of communication between these two disciplines with the creation of new choreographic and music material.

This course will run from Monday 8 – Friday 12 August, 2.15 – 3.45pm each day.
The course fee of £75 covers all five classes.

Manuel Badás and Juan J. Ochoa started NO LEVEL PROJECT with the aim of pursuing and understanding the multifaceted nature of the connection between music and dance. Throughout more than one year they have been researching from a variety of angles and perspectives, working to develop new ways and new paths, and journeying into the confluence of these two arts, Longing for Breath being the culmination of this process and their first full length show together .
