Class description:

Pilates is known as an optimum exercise for strengthening and toning the core muscles. This mat-based class with some equipment such as exercise balls and bands will complement participant’s technique classes by strengthening core stability, improving flexibility and bringing awareness to the alignment of the body. It can also help with common complaints of deskwork including lower back pain, frozen shoulders and stiff neck. Moreover, it will be beneficial for subsidiary dance class when recovering from injury.

Through the sessions, participants will find not only a physical benefit but also feel refreshed and relaxed while having fun in Akane’s class!  This open level class is suitable for all abilities and no experience necessary.

Additional notes:

This class is not suitable for pregnant women.

Due to 2 bank holidays in May there will be no classes on 1 and 29 May 2016. The enrolment cost of £90 (£78 Concessions) covers all 9 classes.
