Meticulously detailed, working across generations, it’s more than dance. Charlotte is shouting in the spaces that matter.”
- The Guardian
Vincent Dance Theatre joins forces with Audio Active, a ground-breaking music organisation working with young people and contemporary urban culture, to premiere VDT’s first ever all-male production.
SHUT DOWN is a highly charged performance directed by Vincent and devised by an extraordinary cast of men and boys. Fusing dance theatre, rap and spoken word, the work explores the question ‘what is it like to live as a young man today?’
This is ‘political and poetic dance theatre’ (London Dance) from one of the UK’s most risk-taking, rigorous choreographers.
Age recommendation 16+
