Webinar Wednesdays is a series of free resources for professional dance artists. Each session focuses on skills that may be particularly resonant, practical and nourishing now and that may help us reimagine future realities.
Online Event Curating in the Age of Covid-19 with Cecilia Wee aims to give an overview of issues to consider when curating events online, exploring three main areas: bodies in digital space, what care and access looks like, and the economics of online events. We will look at a number of international examples, including #WithForAbout2020 online conference, co-curated by Cecilia and the vacuum cleaner (artist and mental health activist), to unpack what is possible (and needed) with curating online and draw out some practical tips. With moderated Q&A.
This webinar will take place on Zoom, hosted by Artist Development Producer Amy Bell. Zoom links will be emailed to everyone who books a place online. Each session will be recorded and made available as a subtitled video resource on The Place website.
